Kindness Day The Foodie Time teams up with Taipei's emerging curry brand, SUZAKU CURRY SHOP, to bring the most classic “SUZAKU Original Sweet Curry Sauce” to Kindness Day Hotel. To echo Tainan's abundant production of oranges every December, a special orange-flavored sauce exclusively tailored for Tainan is concocted. This sauce not only enriches the flavor of the curry but also highlights the unique characteristics of Tainan, adding a touch of sweetness to the curry 🍊.

▊ SUZAKU CURRY SHOP
SUZAKU CURRY SHOP is tucked away on the ground floor of 'Alife WCH' on Taipei's Wuchang Street, within the 'Aplace' space. It presents a visual style inspired by the 'New Oriental' concept, interpreting Suzaku, one of the Four Divine Beasts, with a trendy, modern, and street-style design direction. The curry flavors are set against a backdrop of team culinary experience spanning Eastern and Western backgrounds, resulting in an imaginative and experimental menu. Expect to break away from the norm, departing from traditional curry dining impressions, and ushering in new sensations and experiences.

▊SUZAKU Original Sweet Curry Sauce
A large amount of finely chopped fresh onions are sautéed for up to 6 hours until they reach a caramelized, thick consistency. Then, in the second stage, a large amount of tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and other complex spices are added and simmered. After careful cooking and 72 hours of resting, the curry sauce emits a rich aroma.

Upon tasting, the curry aroma fills the mouth, accompanied by a hint of sweetness from caramelized onions. Each bite reveals layers of flavors from turmeric, coriander seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, caraway seeds, and other spices. The final note carries the unique sweet and sour taste of tomatoes. While the original flavor may seem simple, it presents a rich challenge in flavor, tempting you to eat bite after bite without stopping!

Furthermore, to echo the abundant production of oranges in Tainan every December, a special orange-flavored sauce exclusive to Tainan has been prepared. This sauce not only enriches the flavor of the curry but also highlights the unique characteristics of Tainan, adding a sweet and sour sensation to the curry.
